GR®58 - Tour du Queyras

Description

The GR®58 makes a full loop around the Queyras massif in the Hautes-Alpes. It is a demanding circuit but one of the most consistent in difficulty, with well-structured stages over correctly waymarked high mountain terrain. The start and finish are open from any village in the massif, leaving you free to choose the direction and entry point. Gîtes and refuges follow one another at each stage, making light-pack walking possible. The guide covers the whole loop and its variants, including the Malrif lakes variants that make a shorter loop around Aiguilles possible, with accommodation and resupply points. Mobile coverage is absent on the higher sections, so the guide works offline.
