Departure
Le Puy en Velay
Arrival
Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port
The Via Lemovicensis, also known as the Voie de Vézelay or GR®654, links the Belgian border to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port via Vézelay, Limoges and Périgueux. It is the longest of the four French Camino routes, and the least frequented. The path is well waymarked and served by accommodation, though more spread out than on the Via Podiensis. At Bergerac, a western variant joins the Voie d'Arles directly. Works in aeroplane mode to save battery.
