Anillo de Picos - 3 Macizos

Description

A high-mountain loop that crosses all three massifs of the Picos de Europa, linking their refuges. The terrain is demanding and at times exposed, with long climbs and descents over rough ground, suited to experienced walkers comfortable on scree. The route is built around the staffed refuges, which serve as its support points and fill up in summer. Resupply depends almost entirely on these refuges, which are far apart between the massifs. The guide covers the full loop with its refuges and resupply points. Mobile coverage is absent across much of the route, so the guide works offline.
