Juliana Trail

Description

A mid-mountain trail designed to circle the Triglav massif while keeping a respectful distance from the summits, along valley paths and moderate altitudes. Unlike the high alpine routes, it is walked stage by stage between villages and small towns, with no technical passages. The route is well marked, with signs on posts, trees and stones. Each stage end offers at least one place to stay and eat, and most are reachable by public transport. Accommodation is mainly guesthouses, B&Bs and hotels, with only one stage ending at a mountain hut. The guide covers the full loop with accommodation and resupply points. Mobile coverage is absent across the massif's remote sections, so the guide works offline.
